Customer Reviews - The Great Wave Off Kanagawa by Hokusai Wall...

This was an inexpensive way to dress up my front room, which has other Asian themed pieces in it. The canvas was heavy and good quality, it came with mounting screws, and it looks great above my fireplace. I would recommend this to anyone who likes prints of Japanese artwork.

I love this specific artwork. I can't express how great of a deal this is compared to everywhere i have ever searched for this. I could never find a actual canvas print for less than $100 of this decent size. I am so happy I got this! It's heavy duty and beautiful. I wanted the three piece canvas one because I can stretch the artwork across my side table. I just took it out of the packaging. Had had to immediately post a review! Happy Amazon shopper right here!

Not as pictured! In fact, you can see the same problem I have in photos posted by other reviewers, but nobody has seemed to notice yet. The 36x54 print is missing about 25% of the original painting on the right side. The third panel on the right cuts off the painting shortly after Mt. Fuji, and the second group of boatmen is missing, as well is the rising wave on the right. I have contacted the seller asking if I received a misprint, but given the photos of other reviewers, it seems I'm not the only one with this issue, just the only one who has noticed so far.
In it's defense, it is well made and brightly colored, just cut short.
UPDATE 9/22/15: The seller was very swift and professional in sending me a replacement, but unfortunately the replacement has exactly the same problem as the first. I won't be asking for another replacement, as this issue seems endemic to the product. It may be a factory problem, not a distributor one. One star added for the quick help from the seller.

It's quite lovely. I've come to love nearly anything put on canvas haha, always loved the water and waves. This made a fabulous addition to my beach themed bathroom.

Beautiful print. The wrapped canvas was excellent quality-on sturdy wood with gallery like quality. The colors were vibrant and lovely. It looks wonderful in our bathroom along with other beach/water like canvas prints. I've always loved this painting.

I was so excited to get this picture I couldn't wait to see it in person. Amazingly beautiful canvas print. This looks wonderful in my living room. The quality of this picture is great, very sturdy. The colors are deep and beautiful. This one canvas makes me want to buy 10 more canvas prints from this company. I would recommend this picture to any one looking to add that little extra spice to their home. I did get this product in exchange for my honest review.
