A challenge to align perfectly, definitely need 2 people.
I initially had some issues with the mural I bought. Upon Wall26 learning of my issues they offered a replacement but ultimately end up refunding my purchase. With this degree of customer service I will definitely purchase from them with confidence in the future.
Turned out great. Can't wait to put my replica shark up now!!!
Love the look, the feel and the atmosphere this mural creates in our dinette area. Good quality material and I was able to put it on by myself. Two things to keep in mind when purchasing: the overlap between the panels is about 1-1/5 in. This was not factored in the overall width of the product. Second, you may want to add extra adhesive. I installed it and it looked great and stayed on the wall for about two weeks. Then we lost an electricity on a hot weather and 2 panels came off and crumbled. I was able to pull it apart and place it back on, but it keeps coming off and looks like its been reattached. I may place a crown molding around it, so it stays in place. Otherwise, a great product. Colors and design exactly as pictured.
The picture on the mural is very clear and vibrant. The two main problems with it are the panels don't always match up perfectly and it is EXTREMELY difficult to put up, even with 2-3 people (mostly because the panels don't match up).
There are 6 panels to the entire mural and every one of them overlaps the next one. Some only by a 1/2 inch & others by 1 - 1 1/2 inches. Because of this, you have to have at least 2 people to install the mural.
Honestly, I think I could've learned how to paint a mural and actually painted this on the wall in the time it took to hang it and get it aligned properly.
If this is for a kid's room (like mine was), it's worth it because the minor mismatches between panels won't be noticed as much. If it's for a different part of your house or if you're a perfectionist, I suggest going a different route.
Excellent
prep the wall good and take your time to get it right and you will not be disappointed
These are just crazy! I didn't expect the quality to be like this. It's not wall paper, its canvas with a very strong sticky back. The panels are numbered on the bottom and allow for about 1/4" overlap. Re-positioning is not a good idea, so go slow. Remove the light switch completely if possible to avoid wrinkles. I have the underwater scene in a very small toilet room. Photo quality, Love it.
The scene is amazing. It is a bit tricky to put on due to it's large size, but if you go slow and follow the directions it is fine. The only trouble is with the overlapping- We worked in a team of 3, and had to rearrange one of the panels a few times. But it was simple enough to remove it from the wall and rework it into position. Due to a cabinet, we cut a piece out of the top right corner. The end result is amazing. We had it framed too, and it looks like a giant aquarium. Lots of compliments, would absolutely buy again. (The light quality in the room isn't the greatest- but the actualy colors are vivid and fresh.)
very heavy vinyl, ink seems good ,very sticky adhesive. time will tell.
