After some adjustements it worked. It was not square with the wall and we had to do some adjustments. If it was the first time using a wall decal like this, I would suggest watching how to videos and starting with the center panel. There were no instructions.
Love it! It looks beautifull! It gives my acuarium a nice back ground.
Looks great!
The graphic is awesome. My only complaint is that the panels are horizontal and not vertical. We just ended up using tacks around the outside and glue for the seems. Works great
This looks fabulous in our bedroom! I put it up myself in about an hour. It wasn't hard, but I think most people go about it the wrong way. I started in the middle of the wall with panel 3 on the mid-line, then worked either way. That way when you have to match the design up, and it crawls a little, you have plenty of space to make corrections. ALSO, unpeel about 6 inches at the top, press that to your ceiling line and use a small squeegee to make sure it's all secured well and the air bubbles out...THEN peel down another 6 inches and use the squeegee from the center to the outside. This way, you don't have huge amounts of sticky paper to tangle up and the squeegee does all the hard work for you. Mine went up fast and came out great. I just cut the bottom off with a razor knife. You do have to overlap just a tiny bit to make the design match up.
THe product came folded in 1/3 and rolled. I hope the creases fade when I install it on my granddaughters wall.
Easy to cut for perfect fit, and easy to install. Looks great too! There is some overlap of the edges, but not too difficult to get aligned. Customer service was good as well when I needed info.
Bought this for my son for Christmas last year (2016). The mural is made of heavy duty vinyl material and I was really impressed with the quality of the image and colors. I had read reviews and sanded the wall prior to hanging it and installation went well (it did take two people to hang and get everything to line up). A few days later the mural started to fall off of the wall so I fixed it and then added a few staples to keep it on the wall. Fast forward to summer of this year and the heat (over 100 degrees all summer) really did a number on the vinyl material. The whole mural has shrunk (in length and width) so much that the material has torn away from the staples that I used when the adhesive started to fail. In hindsight I think that process of removing the mural from the backing during the installation stretched the vinyl, which is why it has shrunk so much. My son really loves the mural so I will probably purchase another one but when I do I will not remove the backing to expose the adhesive. Instead I will just hang the mural using staples or nails.
Got this for my 10 year old son's room and he loved it!(yeah he better) I wanted to surprise him for his birthday, and what I thought would only take a couple hours, ended up turning into a 6 hour project! My mother and sister came to help and we're all vertically challenged so it made it difficult using only a chair and a step stool. I almost gave up after the second panel! Idk if my ceiling is uneven or the first panel was slightly off but I had to cut the top on the rest of the panels in order for the picture to line up. There's a crap ton of patch work at the top where I overcut but it's hardly noticeable since its up so high. Also, there is a slight overlap on each of the panels. And for the love of sweet baby Jesus DO NOT LET THE STICKY PART TOUCH THE STICKY PART! Worst 15 minutes of my life!! It was exhausting to apply, my back and neck were so sore; but through all the blood, sweat, and tears the end result was totally worth it!
The picture itself is a little grainy with the larger size. It makes the room a little dark. But I still enjoy it!
