I thought this turned out great...definitely keep these things in mind!!!! 1. Applying this is a two person job (+ a kid or 2 to shout directions at if you have them) (it took me & husband 2.5 hours to do the whole thing) 2. You need an exacto knife to trim edges. 3. I would recommend putting trim at the top 4. Pull liner off a bit at a time! Not all at once. 5. Yes there is overlap, find an area along the edge where this matters (tiny stars don't but the big planets do) and have your small child hold the next section onto the wall in the right position while you stand on chairs and unpeel the top (reassure child their arms will not actually fall off due to this strenuous use of musculature), I think the effect is great and my boys are excited
High quality. Very heavy vinyl. We put it on the ceiling and painted the walls black around it....stunning.
The mural itself is beautiful and I was so disappointed to walk into the room the day after the mural was applied to find the mural on the floor. While the mural did not stick to the wall, it does stick to itself and I don't think I will be able to separate without ruining it completely. Honestly, none of this would bother me so much if install instructions were sent with the mural. Since they were not sent I had to make do with ensuring the wall surface was clean of dust (I dusted with a dusting cloth, but did not use water or cleaner for fear of making the surface too damp to apply the mural.) and pressing the mural to the wall repeatedly through the day to ensure the mural had adhered as best as possible with no air bubbles. Not happy.
*Updated after I found instructions with the product description on Amazon.
Turns out I followed the instructions without having them, so that's good. After reading many comments and reviews I am going to attempt to un-stick the mural from itself with a hairdryer and rehang. If I cannot un-stick and reapply I am going to ask for a replacement. With that said, I think we have too much texture on our walls (It's knockdown, if you are wondering) and will use thumb tacks with glow in the dark stars to disguise them at the top the mural to ensure it won't fall again. I like the mural too much not to try something.
*Updated after we used a hair dryer to un-stick it from itself.
I think the hair dryer trick would work with a smaller section, but because ours fell off the wall, roughly a quarter was stuck to another quarter of the mural. We tried not to overheat or pull to strongly, but in the end half, of the mural has stretched areas and does not hang nicely or adhere without bubbles. Sigh. I am going to request a replacement and I've updated the number of stars to 3 instead of 1. I wouldn't put this much effort into something I hated.
Ok...I order these for my boys room and it arrived in a good time frame. The only problem was they didn't send instructions with it. I will tell you this, it takes two to hang it, and you obviously have to overlap it because we put ours seam to seam and when the material settled it shrank and left spaces in between each one. I contacted the seller and told them I only wanted to replace two or three and they were nice enough to give us a whole new set along with the instructions. The mural itself is beautiful and I believe when we get it hung it will look awesome!!!
VERY VERY NICE! really made up my room very nicely.

Overall, I really like this poster. The printing isn't 4k, but it has a solid backing and it looks nice from a distance.
The poster came in a tube in four vertical sheets. The poster initially had a high tendency to curl up, but I simply put the sheets on the floor, stacked books in the end, and let it sit until it stayed flat. After that, assembly was fairly straightforward. The poster is printed on a sticky material that is backed by a plastic-like sheet. The four pieces are engineered to overlap by exactly one inch. I don't know why others didn't figure this out, since it's fairly obvious if you compare the stars near the edges. I actually appreciate this because it makes the seam disappear. Since I'm in an apartment, I've decided to leave the plastic-like backing on, but I can see that it would easily come off if you wanted to stick the poster to the wall. The backing looks fairly easy to remove once you have a corner.
Overall, this is a nice decoration to an otherwise boring wall. Would buy again.
Real nice picture
Very awesome!
Turned out better than expected, beautiful in boys space-themed bedroom. Instructions printed on the bottom of the sheets, panels are numbered in sequence. It did say panels are printed with about 0.5in overlap. As for alignment, our walls turned out to be the problem so we had to cut the sticker panel at the bottom.
Didn't think was going to come out as beautiful as it actually is!!
